BIOGRAPHY
An Heir to Ancient Lineage in today's world..
Parveen Sabrina Khan, a Franco-Indian vocalist descended from
a seven-generation Rajasthani musical lineage, represents a new generation of artists who bridge tradition and modernity.
Initiated into North Indian classical music through the ancient master-disciple system of taleem, she developed a powerful and nuanced voice shaped by rigorous training and deep immersion.
Her repertoire includes both classical
lrâgas and the endangered
maands of Rajasthan,
which she actively preserves and revitalizes.
Her performances are characterized
by refined improvisation,
emotional depth,
and an elegant
balance between
structure and spontaneity.
After settling in France,
Parveen expanded her artistic collaborations across genres,
embodying a contemporary
India that is rooted in
heritage yet open to
global dialogue.
